When printing PDF maps with the overview activated, the background color of the
overview outline shape should be transparent when config is "
general.overviewColor = none". With current versions, background is grey!
No problem when an overviewColor is explicitly specified (eg. "red", "blue"...).
Perhaps some small troubles with recent mapOverlay changes?
