if a layer is a child of a layerGroup of type dropdown and it is not in the
selected-by-default option of that dropdown, it can't be selected via the filter
layer_select (same problem, but in the other way, for layer_unselect)

maybe see if possible to automaticaly activate the correct parent layerGroup
option in such case.
