[Cartoweb-users] Character as symbol

As far as I know this is only possible in MapServer using PIXMAP (raster
images) symbols. Here is the link to a document describing it, maybe it

I know that it is possible to use letters to fill a polygon but they are
laid out very near to each other.  I wondered whether it were possible
to space them?

exemple " SSSSSSSS" ---> "S  S  S  S  S  S  S  S  S".
