Hi Christophe,

in the STYLE OBJECT from the Mapfile:

SIZEITEM [attribute]

     Item name in attribute table to use for size lookups.

Be carefull of the method you use to calculate the size attribute (size 
in pixel of the base reference image: 2*radius) if you want to be sure 
to have a proportional circle.
