I dont think this behaviour was implemented. As it is the keymap is always 
open by default.
For information, the parameter that define the keymap state is 
'collapse_keymap'. if set to 1, keymap is closed.
Maybe there is an easiest way, but doing a simple plugin that set that value 
to 1 in the template on session start seems doable.
