The main cartoweb folder can have any name, the only important thing is you 
need to add/correct the alias in the Apache config.

Beware, if you use the windows installer, I would really advice you to 
copy/backup the existing cartoweb3 folder somewhere else on your harddisk 
before installing the 3.3
As the installation process is automated (wamp addon) I do remember some 
issues may happens, like folder deleted or so.
Once you have installed the 3.3, simply rename the backuped cartoweb3 folder 
to something else (for exemple cartoweb32 ) and copy it back into your www 
root. Then add the alias (cartoweb3.conf in \wamp\Apache2\conf). Dont forget 
the base-url has changed and rerun the cw3setup --install command with the 
new url.
