well, maybe compare the template of a demo and the template of you projects to see if other elements have changed, for example the id of the element around the scale value ?

  it works but only when I reload the page (F5). Without reload the current scale doesn't change after zooming.

      I'm porting a 3.2 project in cartoweb 3.4. It seems that {$currentScale}  parameter in cartoclient.tpl doesn't work anymore (worked in 3.2).
