Hi

the problem is the SHAPEPATH "C:/wamp/data" parameter in the foss4g.map file

the tutorial is a bit old and it was intended to be used with the Cartoweb 3.3 version, which used WAMP and not MS4W, so the path are a little different now.

the SHAPEPATH should point to the folder where you have uncompressed the content of the data.zip

I will see to update the tutorial instructions to take into account the new MS4W installation procedure.

  I appreciate your guide "CartoWeb3 for Beginners", it contains so many useful imformation, especially for novice like me. 

  But I still face a problem in step 1. I installed ms4w-2.2.7 and cartoweb3.40. After copying floder "foss4g" to "C:\ms4w\apps\cartoweb3\projects", making that foss4g.php and of course those command lines in cmd windows(they all worked well ). I tried http://localhost/cartoweb3/htdocs/foss4g.php

I just followed the guide step by step, nothing ever changed. And all other demos work well.
