Here's my 2 cents:

If $GLOBALS['gszAppWebPath'] is not set properly then it means that your
Chameleon configuration is not set properly.  If you have not configured your
Chameleon installation properly then a lot of other stuff breaks too.

This is not a documentation issue beyond the need to have proper installation
and configuration docs.
