you could take it a step further and display the version of the document (CVS
version info). this can be extracted from:

<cham:widgetdoc>
  <cham:docinfo>
    <cham:docversion>$id:$</cham:docversion>
  </cham:docinfo>
</cham:widgetdoc>

This maybe a summary report rather than on the fly highlight in the widgets that
have past generated docs. Just a thought
