Background info:

I checked out Chameleon branch "chameleon20".  I did a "cvs status Makefile" and
I got the following information:

Problem:

The version of Chameleon written in the Makefile is 1.99 instead of 2.0 (see below).
  ...
BUILD    = $(shell date +%Y%m%d)
VERSION  = 1.99beta-$(BUILD)
CHAMELEON   = chameleon-$(VERSION)
  ...
