When trying to implement multiple language for our app, I had to use a URL to 
start a new application session rather than using setLanguage() (which was 
preferable) to switch between languages. 

The problem was that if the user switched languages while zoomed in, in the new 
language app those zoomed in extents become the 'original_extents' and the user 
could never zoom back out to what should have been the full extent of the app. 
The original_extents should be carried over from the original app, it should 
not use the current map extents to set that metadata.
