Paul, the advantage of putting the dummy in the base widget is that we will be
able to create widget instance without always checking if the MLT object is set
in the widget.

In many widgets right now, we use the MLT to get text, however we do not check
before if the MLT exist...This leads to warnings and sometimes errors in the
JSAPI. If we consider that we should be able to create a widget object and use
it right away, we have to make it check for the MLT.

Does it make sense?
