I analysed what Joanne suggested and it makes sense.  Even in very small
displacement we could get a difference between a coordinate ("d or h") for two
different extents that is greater than the width or height error ("pw * w1 or ph
* h1").  By adding a test to check if the difference between "d or h" and width
or height error, it will avoid the extents to be saved when there is a very
small displacement.

Fixed as suggested.
