[Chameleon] query

Hi List,

I have the query widget installed and it works great.  Users can click 
on certain roads in Ottawa to find the information that they need.  
This is great for people that live in the region, but for those that 
aren't familiar with where the roads are situated, it is more 
difficult.  What I want to do is to allow users to query the local 
data.  The best case scenario is to have  the queried road highlighted 
and zoomed to the location (Which is using a few different widgets, 
from what I have read).

Is the SQL query widget solely for databases or can it work with local 
data?

If so, what tags are used for this widget?

any help would be appreciated.
