[Chameleon] chameleon beta2 on Linux

Hi,
I have been trying install chameleon beta 2 on Linux and when I try to run 
the samples, this is the error I get

Warning: dl(): Unable to load dynamic library 
'/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/php_dbase.dll' - 
/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/php_dbase.dll: cannot open shared object 
file: No such file or directory in /edclxw43/www/chameleon-1.99beta-20040709/htdocs/common/mlt/mlt.php on line 245

In fact, when I try the chameleon/admin/ , this is what I have:

Anyone with more experience with Chameleon on Linux has any ideas?
