Thanks very much. So it would be easy to use for example RESULT_FIELDS
metadata parameter as well?

I made this enanchement, i attach the query_result.phtml
This shows the field setted in the layer->header object

so if the header is defined it shows just the selected fields with the
selected aliases.
The sintax is:
HEADER "FIELD_NAME_1|ALIAS_1 FIELD_NAME_2|ALIAS_2 FIELD_NAME_3|ALIAS_3
....."
note the | for associate a fieldname with an alias and the space for
separation between field-alias copuples.

For istance:

LAYER
 NAME "districts"
 HEADER "NAME_DIS|district NO_DISTR|number"
 ....
 ....
END

will show a table with only two field named district and number.

Hope this could help....

Thanks Bart,

Can you tell me if maybe the new Query Results functionality is planned

in the new version? I mean, to be able to set for example RESULT_FIELDS

metadata parameter in map file that would be reflected in the query

result?

Hi Dejan,

AFAIK Chameleon 2.4 was planned for December 2005 (which is

now ofcourse

:-) ).

I do hope there will be a Release Candidate (RC) for 2.4 soon.

I am also gonna do a few tests on the CVS head in the next couple of

days/weeks.

Best regards,

Bart

Hi,

Is it known when will the new Chameleon version be released?

I want to

make a productional site and would like to use the released version,

but there are some new functionalities (language handling

especially)

that I would like to use from the current CVS? Is the current CVS

stable enough to use it?

Thanks very much

regards, dejan
