[Chameleon] MLT and parameters

Hi list,

Just a thought for future extension of the MLT functionality (interface), or maybe there is already something for this which I missed ....

I often use the MLT functionality eg for javascript alerts. In those cases I sometimes need to pass a parameter to the text.

For instance (the parameter is 25):

The maximum number of features (25) has been exceeded.

In the dbf file I would store then:
The maximum number of features (%s) has been exceeded.

Or even 2 separate text values using 2 keys which are concatenated.

Ofcourse the handling of formatting %s could be done outside of the MLT code, but also the get function could be extended to pass an array of parameter values which are then filled in by the MLT code.

Just a thought though :-) .

Best regards,
Bart
