[Chameleon] count WMS_retrievals inside Chameleon session

Dear chameleon-users/developers,

I am faced with the problem of counting the requests to  a WMS-Server
inside a chameleon-session, but do not know how to realize that.

Perhaps somebody of you has thought about implementing something
similar? I was thinking about using the SessionExpired-widget, but do
not know how to count the WMS-requests and increment a counter as
well. 

Thanks for any comments on this.
