[Chameleon] WMS layer breaks query widget drill down

I noticed that if you have a queriable WMS layer on your map the query 
widget stops its query drill down at the WMS layers, so its not possible 
with a WMS layer loaded to query any of the other layers in your map.

Before I jump into the query widget code to try and fix the problem, has 
anyone already tackled this problem? I looked in bugzilla and didnt see 
anything related to this.
