[Chameleon] ON_QUERY is not defined / Custom query w/JSAPI?

Hello,

I'm new to Chameleon and am trying to modify my template so that the 
query results are displayed in the page rather than in a pop-up window.

I've been reading through the instructions at :

When testing, the javascript console gives me the message, "ON_QUERY 
is not defined."  Does this have to do with the fact that I'm using JSAPI?

Any suggestions on how I can get this to work?
