[Chameleon] Controlling layers shown in legend

Hi all,
I have a large raster layer with over 9000 300x300px tiles. To improve 
performance when zoomed out I created another layer with a set of lower 
resolution tiles and tuned the MAXCALE & MINSCALE settings in the mapfile so 
the most appropriate layer is shown at a given zoom level. The problem is 
chameleon shows all these layers in the legend. Is there a way to customize 
the legend so only one layer is displayed?
