[Chameleon] Layer ordering in legend

Of course, here are the parts of the code:

legend_template:
...
[leg_layer_html order_metadata=legend_order opt_flag=14]
...

mapfile:

  METADATA 
...
    "LEGEND_ORDER" "2"
...
  END  # Metadata 

I have tried all the possible combinations (with/without uppercase
letters, with/without quotation marks...). Nothing seems to work. The
only place I have found the reference to legend_order in Chameleon was
in LegendTemplate.widget.php where it was set for reverse ordering of
layers. I have tried to comment it but nothing happened..
