Thanks Aaron.
Now I'm running into some other probs.
When I try to open the "Sample using simple images for buttons" link I get
- Fatal error: Chameleon configuration file does not exist.
I can't figure out what file the error is talking about. Is it the
cwc2.php?
Thanks again
Ian

RE: [Chameleon] Mapserver error
Ian,
Even though proj might have been installed you still need to let the
linker
know where the shared objects are. By default (on my fedora systems) proj
libraries are in /usr/local/lib and the header file (proj_api.h) should be
in /usr/local/include. You need to make sure that the /etc/ld.so.conf
file
has the /usr/local/lib directory in it, and if it does not then you need
to
add it and run /sbin/ldconfig as root.
Hope that helps…
Aaron

I'm running Mapserver-4.10.0 on Centos4. When I first installed I didn't
use
the --with-proj tag but have since reinstalled with the tag. Now mapsrever
still can't find the proj libraries. It's now looking for for libproj.so,
libproj.a and proj_api.h
the latest version of proj4 I installed only installed libproj.so.0 and
libproj.so.0.4.2
Any ideas?
thanks
Ian

Hi,
Thanks for the quick email. I've been hacking at this for a few days.
I got the mapserver from the UMN Mapserver site. I'm running version
4.10.0

Did you compile mapserver yourself? Are you running on Windows or Linux ?
If
you did compile yourself, did you compile the PROJ4 library into your
mapserver installation ?
Thanks,
