Hi Mariette,

 

My apologies.  I glanced at the Chameleon download page before sending my
last response to you and read that 2.6 beta was the latest release (which
should have contained the buffer functionality you require), but looking at
the available download packages, you are correct, RC1 is the latest.

 

I thought that the beta release had this update, I added the functionality
before the beta release, but as Murphy would have it, it is not there.
Sorry, but it looks like you will have to upgrade to the RC1 package.
Either that, or I can send you an update for that functionality off-list.

 

I will also have the MapTools page updated to indicate that the RC1 is the
latest download version.

Greetings,

I am now running the new 2.6 beta. I am still encountering the same issue,
there is simply nothing happening. I do now have the textbox, I enter a
number press the button and click on a polygon feature and nothing. I have a
layer selected and the page is refreshed to ensure it registers the selected
layer. I am getting the same results in the sample applications, the tool
does not function with or without the buffer. The other ROI tools are
working correctly.

 

Another question: What is chameleon 2.6 ORC1?
