Hi Bill,
Ok, if I have this file. Then this widget that sets the active layer?
In my case it is the LegendTemplate.html, because I added the
CustomTreeLegend widget.
The LegendTemplate.html states:
...onclick="CWCSelectLayer('[leg_layer_name]', true)"...
Can I assume that this widget sets the active layer???
If yes, the error as mentioned in your link is still there and I do not
have a idea how to improve -get Select by feature/Buffer working-
If not, what to look for?
I hope to get this run by yours and lists experiance,
Robert

Hi Robert,
The legend template file is typically in the same directory as your
Chameleon html template. In the case of the Chameleon samples (OGC
sample) it is looking for a legend template called
"legend_template.html". This file is in the"chameleon/samples/htdocs/"
folder. This is a user defined file specific to the user's mapfile and
Chameleon application.
HTH

Bill

Hey Bill,
Following your link guided me to this (your question):
"Do you have a LegendTemplate widget that sets the active layer?"
I do have folders: Legend, LegendTemplate and LegendTemplateLM at the
widgets folders.
My application uses the
...<cwc2 type="LegendTemplate"...template="LegendTemplate.html"...
(->sample_ogc.html)
but there ...\htdocs\widgets\LegendTemplate I do not find a file:
LegendTemplate.html.
Any ideas? What to do?
Robert

Hi Mariette,
It should work with RC1. Checkout the thread:
http://www.nabble.com/RE%3A-Re%3A-Buffer-Functionality-p11687294.html
it will show you what to setup in your template.
The buffer will not work on a WMS layer but will work on a shapefile and
other vector data types.
Cheers,
Bill

Well,
I have not managed to get it working with either update (beta1 or ORC1).
But in ORC1 I get an error message saying that the buffer attribute is
invalid, so maybe it is in the beta and not in the ORC version? I am
uncertain on how to check this, I know that in the php widget file for
the ORC version there is no word saying buffer so I assume that it was
not in the orc1 version. But either way I cant figure this out. I will
keep with the beta version for now and keep playing around with this.
Is the tool ment to work with wms or shapefiles or both?
