[Chameleon] How to draw buffer by giving the value

HI
I am using chameleon 2.4 in jsapi mode. i am able to pass the vale in the text box provided for the buffer but value given is not posted while the page is set. can any one suggest me solution to draw buffer according to the value send by the user. Urgent please any body give me the solution.
