[Chameleon] Cwc2 error. [MapServer Error]: getDouble(): Parsing error near (IMAGECOLOR) or (nan)

Hello to everybody in the list.

I have used Chameleon 2.4 on Linux and ms4w for a while, and recently tried to use cwc2. But I haven't been able to install and use Cwc2. After some trials and errors on several platform/chameleon/ms4w/php version combinations, I want to ask for your help.

I have tried several configurations. Among others are;
WinXPSP2 & ms4w_1.6.zip & chameleon-ms4w2.4.1.zip 
WinXPSP2 & ms4w_1.6.zip & chameleon-ms4w2.6.0.rc1.zip 
WinXPSP2 & ms4w_2.2.6.zip & chameleon-ms4w2.6.0.rc1.zip 
WinXPSP2 & ms4w_2.2.6.zip & chameleon-2.6.0.rc1.zip (the plain files. By the way, there are differences among these two 2.6.0.rc1 files, specially in cwc2.xml config file.)
Linux CentOS 4 & php4 & an old chameleon-2.2 I had installed.
Linux CentOS 4 & php4 & chameleon-2.4.1
Linux CentOS 4 & php4 & chameleon-2.6.0.rc1
Linux CentOS 5 & php5 & chameleon-2.6.0.rc1

In all cases, Chameleon gets installed successfully, but when I try to use Cwc2 with:
http://localhost/chameleon/cwc2/cwc2.php?service=VCG&request=GetApplication&version=0.1.0

I keep getting one of these two errors. One for win and one for linux. 

Error on Linux ( see full error below )
Warning: [MapServer Error]: getDouble(): Parsing error near (nan):(line 2) 
in /var/www/html/Map/htdocs/chameleon/htdocs/common/wrapper/map_session.php on line 215

Error on Windows ( see full error below )
Warning: [MapServer Error]: getDouble(): Parsing error near (IMAGECOLOR):(line 3) in C:\ms4w\apps\chameleon\htdocs\common\wrapper\map_session.php on line 215

Both errors are very similar, because:
+ Both are trailed by extent errors, and later by session and default.map errors.
+ In both cases, the session_file, and the sess_1234567890 gets created correctly, also the buttons and default.map in /tmp 
+ The /tmp/default.map file starts with “MAP EXTENT nan nan nan nan” for linux or “MAP EXTENT -1.#IND -1.#IND -1.#IND -1.#IND” on windows
So I think they should be related to the same problem, only I can't figure out what it is.

I also tried to solve that by changing some other files, with no luck. I tried:
+Using the template and context files from http://chameleon-tiki.maptools.org/tiki-pagehistory.php?page=Chameleon+Service+Instance+Lab&preview=10
+Compiling and using the source C wmsparse in linux and wmsparse.exe in win
+Adjusting session.save_path in php.ini to match the chameleon tmp files

I have searched the list and the web, but haven't found any reference to this problem.
