working on my local Windows machine running MapServer 4.4.1 with Chameleon 2.0
(January 11, 2005), but not on the Linux machine running MapServer 4.4.0-beta2
and Chameleon ?? (at least, pre-2.0, but I don’t know how far back. How
would I find that out?)</span></font></p>

style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>Anyway, checking/unchecking the
layers does not update the map with those changes when UpdateMap called. It
just keeps loading the mapfile’s default layers. I’ve checked
the CGI stream and the correct layers are being sent with the legendlayername
array. I feel there must be an error occurring somewhere along the way after
it’s actually started the Chameleon app but before it gets to the point
of actually applying the visibility based on the layers in legendlayername.
However, nothing is coming up in Apache’s error_log. Is there any other
place where errors might be getting stored? Does chameleon have a file it
specifically writes to somewhere?</span></font></p>
