<P><FONT size=2>Yiasou Athanasis,<BR><BR>In trying your sample, I get results back. Try "M6M" for the Postal<BR>Code search, or "01" for the Watershed search.<BR><BR>1./ The functionality of the Locate widget is to use common geocoding<BR>services (gazetteer, etc.) to acquire x/y points and navigate or plot<BR>them on a map.<BR><BR>The geocoding services included in chameleon are specific to Canadian<BR>placenames, postal codes, etc. This is why you won't find any results<BR>in your map, which is focused on Lesvos.<BR><BR>2./ To change the functionality of the services behind the Locate widget<BR>(I've done this), your best bet is to:<BR><BR>A./ check out widgets/Locate/Locate.phtml which is the popup PHP script<BR>B./ check out /htdocs/common/phpgeocoder/services, where there are a few<BR>scripts which Locate.phtml calls<BR>C./ add your own script to connect to one of your own geocoding<BR>services/tools<BR><BR>That's the basic approach.
