Site!</h6>

site dedicated to open source Web mapping projects.
<a href="http://www.maptools.org">Maptools.org</a> was launched as the premier
open source mapping community resource at the MapServer
User Meeting in June. The site hosts several open source
projects, the latest downloads available, updates and
project news, CVS repositories for source code, community
mailing lists, technical documentation, and more!</p>

<h6><a name="contract"></a>DM Solutions Group Awarded GeoInnovations Contract</h6>
<p>DM Solutions Group was pleased to announce that the
company was awarded a GeoInnovations contract to develop
interactive cartography tools that work seamlessly
with the emerging Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure
(CGDI).</p>
<p>The contract will result in the development of a set
of powerful and easy to use tools that will help organizations
integrate CGDI data and services into their own custom

<h6><a name="mapserver"></a>Significant Enhancements to MapServer 4.0</h6>
<p>Version 4.0 of MapServer is now available, and includes
significant contributions from DM Solutions Group.
Among the enhancements are implementations of the Open
GIS Consortium Web Map Context and Web Feature Service
specifications, as well as the capacity to output vector-based
maps. </p>

<h6><a name="chameleon"></a>Chameleon 1.0 Release</h6>
<p>The much anticipated release of Chameleon 1.0 has finally arrived! The highly customizable and adaptable environment for deploying Web mapping applications is now available from DM Solutions Group. Chameleon technology is based on MapServer and PHP technology, and requires very little programming and technical skills to create highly customizable applications.</p>

<h6><a name="mum"></a>The First Annual MapServer User Meeting</h6>
<p>The first annual MapServer User Meeting held in St. Paul at the University of Minnesota in June was a huge success. Over 100 MapServer users and developers attended the two-day conference along with several representatives from DM Solutions Group who were delivering presentations and workshops on MapServer technology.</p>
<p>Excitement is building for next year's conference which will be held in Ottawa.<br><br></p>
