Tyler,

OpenEV requires GTK 1.x. GTK 2.x is substantially different and OpenEV has
not been ported to it. If we have other stuff requiring GTK 2.x then we can
include it too, but we need at least 1.x for OpenEV.

I was wondering for some stuff like GTK that might only be required for a
single package if we should just include it in that package, rather than
in the base package. Do you know of anything other than OpenEV that requires
GTK 1.x?

I haven't quite nerved myself up to starting the OpenEV package. It will be
a substantial effort. :-) I think I will just capture all the Gtk and Mesa
stuff rather than try to build it from scratch.

Best regards,
