Espen,

I can't think of any reason the FGS binaries should be much slower or faster
than ones you build yourself, though you might be able to squeeze a bit more
speed out of your own binaries by dropping some unused options and using
compile/optimization switches more specific to your CPU type and version rather
than the generic i386 options used for FGS.
