[FGS] shp2img test failure

It works.  Thank you.

Yes, I had downloaded fgs from maptools.  Following your recommendation, I
uninstalled fgs maptools, and installed the up-to-date fgs build from osgeo.
Easy install, works perfectly.

Where did you get you fgs package?  on maptools.org?  I tested shp2img 
with the fgs package I installed from msx and it works correctly.  Frank 
W. set up automated fgs build which are more up to date here:

http://download.osgeo.org/mapserver/fgs-msx/ and the instructions are:

http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu/download/nightly/fgs-msx-5.x
