[FWTools] NHDM to PostGIS with ogr2ogr

I am trying to "convert" the NHMD <http://nhd.usgs.gov/data.html> 
geodatabases into PostGIS tables with ogr2ogr. After running the 
command, the new tables are created and populated, but no geometries are 
entered into the tables. Any thoughts on what might be going wrong?
