Dear List;<br><br><br>Last year here at the office I started a project to create a catalog of geographic information, for this job I hired a developer who made a couple of python programs which walk through our servers looking for geographic information in the form of shp, tif, bil and img and using the GDAL bindings extracts its extent, geometry, number of elements, projection, dbf description,
user, date last modification, path, etc and writes it into an csv file. <br><br>My goal is this year release this programas as an open source project, this will happen as soon as we polish a couple of details we've found on the programs.<br>
<br>My question where can I find a more detailed and thorough documentation of the GDAL methods, how many are there available and what do they do.<br><br>Any help would be appreciated<br><br><br><br><br clear="all"><br>-- <br>
