[Geotiff] Trouble with import

Hi,
I am trying to conbine a world file and a metadata file in a tiff image in
order to get a geotiff using the geotifcp -e abc.tfw -g projdef.txt
abc.tiffgeo_abc.tif . However, everytime i use this cmd, the cmd line
freezes until
i press anykey and then i get an Import Failure msg. Why is that?
