[Geotiff] problem installing GDAL & libgeotiff on 10.3.9

If you don't see /usr/local/lib/libtiff.*, then you can get the source from:
http://www.remotesensing.org/libtiff/

You may also need/want zlib:
http://www.zlib.net/

Also, the Proj.4 libraries for projection utilities
http://proj.maptools.org/

My usual compile order is:
1 - zlib
2 - jpeg
3 - proj
4 - tiff
5 - geotiff

I'm using Windoze and Linux, but the dependencies and build order should be
the same on the Apple.
