Okay, so I am using tiff-3.8.0/libtiff and things are starting to work..
but libtiff_i.lib is not located here.. Umm.. But it is in the
geotiff_win32_devkit.zip. Should I be using this if I am using VC++?

on libtiff, which is where tiffio.h comes from.
