it's evident that me, Andrea and PG have used DHTML API outside kamap OBJ.
sorry for this

now it's time to think if synchronize all DHTML functions calls to kaMap obj is a good thing.

My first thinking is that a very deep code refactoring will be done once the discussion on merging with 
OpenLayers will be done.
This means that there's an interest in creating a set on functionalities shared by more Web Mapping 
projects.
We will talk about this in Lausanne Foss4G2006.
If this will be the path to pursuit we'll be involved in deep changes to actual API.
