[ka-Map-users] Help, I'm getting some image weirdness

Hi Paul, et al,

I am getting some serious image weirdness in ka-map. The image as 
compared to that generated by /cgi-bin/mapserv is nice and clean but the 
ka-map generated images have serious problems with the labels an maybe 
other stuff.

cgi-bin version:

MapServer version 4.9 OUTPUT=GIF OUTPUT=PNG OUTPUT=JPEG OUTPUT=WBMP 
OUTPUT=SVG SUPPORTS=PROJ SUPPORTS=FREETYPE SUPPORTS=THREADS INPUT=EPPL7

php version:

I have attached some tile samples. These are both being generated using 
the same mapfile and at the same scale. The scale breaks are not near 
the scales so it is not a problem of rounding of the scale causing 
different classes/layers to be applied.

   OUTPUTFORMAT
     NAME PNG8
     DRIVER "GD/PNG"
     EXTENSION "png"
     MIMETYPE "image/png"
     IMAGEMODE RGBA
     TRANSPARENT OFF
     FORMATOPTION "QUANTIZE_FORCE=ON"

     FORMATOPTION "QUANTIZE_COLORS=256"
   END

I get the same results with "QUANTIZE_DITHER=OFF"

I'm totally at a loss to fix this and need ti for a show on Wednesday. 
So any help would be appreciated.
