If $oAuth is not set in config.php then nothing new happens. $oAuth is 
commented out by default in config.dist.php.

I just committed the changes to CVS, see 
http://bugzilla.maptools.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1512 for the latest details.

Will look at adding a wiki page now.
