[ka-Map-users] Refreshing the map when you update the mapfile

Insert a version in your mapfile. It will look like this:

map
  ...
  web
    ...
    metadata
      ...
      version "0.1"
    end
  end
  ...
end

So, when you change your mapfile, just update the version.
