Hi Absar Ali,
if you are asking for a standard mapserver application (ex: Steve  
Lime's demo application) please refer to mapserver documentation:
http://mapserver.gis.umn.edu/docs

If you trying to use hilite with ka-map you'll have to wait at least  
a week. That function is not yet implemented.
