Absar,

there is a basic query tool in kaMap that gives you the geographic  
coordinates of a user's click.  You can add some code to the query  
handling function to call a server-side script with the geographic  
location.  That script can do a geographic search of your data and  
return whatever you like.  At least that's the theory.  You can also  
use MapServer's query template system, see:
