I know the javascript is visible, but I am more interested in the php
parser which isn't :-)

Looks great guys, I had been working on something similar but using a
local MySQL database for the point data. I went for the option of
loading the tool tip html onload instead of on mouseover which slowed
down the original placement of the markers but resulted in instant
tooltips on mouseover, but looking at how quick the request is retrieved
(providing the tiles are already cached) I think I might use a similar
method to you guys.
