[ka-Map-users] RE: kamap query

Hi all,
For the sake of karma -- let me note on the record how one makes a ka-map query that returns results from the map table in the example gmap75 ... this is the parks layer made queryable, and note that it's the first layer ("queryable" "true" must apparently be in the very first layer or it will be ignored) and that in order to see a table of results -- not just  "results:  1" -- you need the "fields" (not "result_fields") option set in METADATA.
The source of this inspiration: a presentation by our friend Paul Spencer at FOSS4G (not sure what that stands for) on 9/12/2006 at www.ominverdi.org -- I had ignored this link in my searches because the page somehow craps out in my browser, hiding all the text after loading it initially -- but I saw it by requesting the cached text only from Google. link:
