[ka-Map-users] MapFile and Ka-Map scale

I am trying to figure out how the scale / zoom level works.

My mapfile is set to UNITS   METERS.
My projection looks like this:
PROJECTION
        "init=epsg:4326"
        'proj=longlat'
        'ellps=WGS84'
        'datum=WGS84'
        'no_defs'
 END  
On a scale of 1:2500 I get a small dot about half a centimeter that
resembles all the roads in the country. The last time I looked we were
bigger than that...

In 1:50 I can se the entire country (maximized) on my screen. 
My screen resolution 1680x1050

I am running Windows, latest MS4W and ka-map 1.0
