[ka-Map-users] postGis or Shape Files?

Hi friends, 
I am developing a mapserver application using ka-map interfaz, I have a two polygon shape files of 63000 and 15000 rows respectively, I ask what as of the two options it has perfomance better, to pass my files to a table in postgis, or to work with my Shp files
