[ka-Map-users] Memory leaks using kaXmlOverlay ...

Hi,

I am developing an application that uses kaMap with kaXmlOverlay to
display rapid changing data on a map. For this I use the loadXml()
function and some code that periodically calls a cgi script that
returns, from a database, the xml string that defines the objects to be
displayed on the map. Everything works fine, but if FF is dealing
relatively well with this (leaks memory too), IE is sucking memory like
a sieve! 300-400 kb per sec! I need to make it work on IE, because the
final application is written in Delphi and uses the Embeeded Web browser
component from bsalsa.com.

I'm stuck.. After hours and hours of trying to see where the memory leak
is, finally I give up.

If someone had or has the same problem, please respond.

Thank you,
Ionut Muntean

P.S.
I've read some posts in the lists, mentioning there is a patch for this
issue (kaXmlOverlay and memory leaks). A guy named Wayne
(wayne at datalinktech.com.au) said he resolved this problem. I could not
find the patch he said he would upload ....
